Our oceanfront property is 2 1/2 miles north of the
town of San Pedro on land that was formerly used
for growing coconut palms - a coconut plantation
or "cocotal". We span beach front to lagoon, so
water access is easy.
****
Central to the property is a freshwater pool with an
expansive coral stone deck for sunning. reading or
just lounging.
****
Dining is just a short beach walk away at several
nearby restaurants. You can cook in your own
kitchen, pick up some Belizean "fast food" from
local vendors, or order delivery from town (even
pizza!). There is also an outdoor dining area at the
honor bar with BBQ, plates and utensils available
for your use.
****
Excursions, dive/snorkel trips, fishing guides, and
mainland tours all pick up at our 200 ft. pier. From
here you can explore the island or other parts of
Belize on day trips. Our kayaks are available for
your use at no charge.
All tours and activities, dinner reservations and
transportation options can all be arranged through
our on site manager/concierge.
****
Island sightseeing can be done by rental golf cart
or bicycle - we have several complimentary
bicycles available for guest use. A private water
taxi service, Coastal Express, runs scheduled
trips up and down the island day and night.
****
Read a book by the pool, take a mainland or
island tour, ride a bike to town, snorkel under our
pier at an artificial reef, take a kayak out, or just
unwind with a walk down the beach...it's all here for
you to enjoy at Cocotal Inn and Cabanas.
We hope that you will consider a stay with us!
